Question:
It has been a month now since my surgery. I had bone grafting done on my upper and lower teeth on one side of my mouth.
The pain is still so bad that I cannot function unless I have at least 600-800 mgs every 4 hrs of ibuprofen. When will this pain stop?
I have been on antibiotics for 3 weeks also. This pain is in the teeth that had the bone grafts and the pain shoots up the side of my face. Do I need to see another dentist about this or will it go away soon? ...Visitor from TN
Answer:
A month is a little long to be in this kind of pain. I would see an oral surgeon for an evaluation.
