Bone Loss Ask The Dentist Ara Nazarian

Question:
My upper dentures are 30 yrs old. I have total bone loss there.

I have 6 lower teeth that are wore down at least half way. Please advise me what I should do ... Visitor from MI

Answer:
It all depends on if the lower teeth are salvagable or not.

Depending on their condition they may be maintained or extracted. Most patients have problems once the lower teeth are extracted and replaced with dentures and no implants.

If you are a candidate for implants that may be the way to go and have a fixed bridge as seen in my website gallery.
