Question:
I got an upper bridge about 3 months ago. I have pain when chewing hard foods, meats, nuts, carrots and even salad.
My dentist has brought me in and place the paper in my mouth and markeed what he thought may have been the problem. Then he shaved off some of the bridge to try and resolve the problem.
I have gone back about 4 times now and I am still hurting when I eat. What you suggest I do?
This was very expensive dental work and I can't go anywhere else because it is an existing problem. ... Visitor from GA
Answer:
Time for a second opinion. Let another dentist or a few see what's going on.
You may need to have a serious talk with your dentist. It could be an easy adjustment or a real problem, but what you're experiencing isn't normal.
