I have a broken tooth, I am on tylenol with codeine and amoxicillin, I went to the dentist yesterday who got me an appt for a root canal next week, I have tried oragel. The pain is not subsiding. Is there anything else I can do? The pain is in the tooth, jaw and ear. ...Visitor from MI

Answer:
The antibiotics need 3 days to kick in. Other than getting a sooner appointment there is nothing you can do. Oragel will do absolutely nothing for your problem! Find another dentist who is open and can get you out of pain sooner.
