Question:
I broke my tooth 8 months ago. My insurance company sent me to a dentist that I didn't know. He decided to replace my tooth with a porcelan tooth. It looks pretty nice but I can`t get used to it. My tongue is in contact with this fake tooth all the time. I'm sure there are better materials or replacements for a broken tooth that feels and looks O.K. Hope you can give some advice about it. ...Peter in FL

Peter, it sounds like the crown that was made is too bulky and that is why it feels awkward to your tongue. I recommend that you see another dentist for a second opinion.
