Question:
Fixing Bucked Teeth with Lumineer Veneers: I understand that the most common way to fix bucked teeth is braces. However, I'm curious to know is there a faster way. I am in my twenties and rather now have braces but I do badly want my bucked teeth fixed. Would Lumineers or something like that help? ...Visitor from OH
Answer:
Yes, Lumineers or Porcelain Veneers can transform your smile in a few appointments.
However your teeth would need to be prepared a bit to reduce the "bucked tooth" look of your smile.
Before you decide to have any type of veneers done to improve your smile be sure you find a good cosmetic dentist, and ask to see photo's of other patient's he/she has helped.
You may also want to consult with a good orthodontist about improving your smile through "invisible" braces such as Invisaline. If you are a candidate for this type of orthodontic treatment, it is more conservative than altering your teeth for veneers and doesn't involve metal braces.
