Answer:
The Erbium Laser is the best laser to modify hard tissue with. We do not
necessarily seal teeth any more in our office.
We do however use the laser to remove any bacteria in the grooves of the teeth and to remove any decayed tooth structure. Then we place a restoration if it is needed that looks like a tooth and also has fluoride in the material.
