Question:
Headache and Sensitivity: I had a new porcelain crown put on about 5 months ago.

It is on a front tooth. This crown is sensitive when tapped. I've had a root canal so I don't understand what could be sensitive.

Also, I've had almost daily headaches since and all they say is I have TMJ problems and they want to build me two new partials.

I was wondering if there is a possibility of something to do with the crown causing my headache. It is on the same side of my head. ...Visitor from TX

Answer:
I think there is a strong possibility that the crown is not biting properly and could be the cause of your headaches.

I would probably seek a second opinion and would not let the first dentist do more work unless he works to make the crown more comfortable first.
