Question:
Porcelain veneers: Does having caps on your teeth prevent you from having porcelain veneers applied? ...Visitor from MI

Answer:
Caps cover the whole tooth, while veneers cover less than half. So once you have a cap (crown), and you remove it, you have to stay with the same type of restoration. But you can have caps which are full porcelain for more lifelike appearance!
