Crowns Ask The Dentist Richard Winter Question:
Removing and Reshaping New Crowns: I recently had caps put on permanently to my implants.

I am very unhappy with the way they look. Can they be reomved so the caps can be reshaped? ...Visitor from NY

Answer:
You will have to ask your dentist.

Usually temporary cements are used to cement implant crowns so they can be retrieved or removed in case of implant problems. Sometimes implant crowns are cemented permanently.

Your dentist should help you so you are pleased with the results.
