Answer:
Yes, if the bite of your new dentures is not correctly measured and aligned, it can cause more clicking and popping leading to more tmj problems.
Without seeing an xray or some pictures it is difficult to say, however, if you are complaining of these already, it may be important to check the bite and vertical dimension of your new denrtures.
Many times we increase the vertical dimension in patient's dentures, but it is important
to make the appropriate calculations to prevent these problems.
