I am not sure I completely understand your question, but I think it is related to form versus function.
Is it better to have a great bite or to have teeth put on the denture so that they look correct...
This is a very difficult question but I can tell you that I believe that a great look that is in the right form will almost always give you the best function. Sometimes someone has lost a lot of bone and the teeth have to be moved back to get a stable denture. But most of the time you can get a compromise and be happy is both situations.
