Eroding teeth and beer: Can drinking beer or lager damage teeth in the same way as fizzy drinks such as coke?

Answer:
Any beverage that has an acidic content can lead to enamel erosion.
As to what stage you should consider doing veneers or caps is a judgement call you have to make.
If the teeth are looking thin and yellow and the cosmetic appearance bothers you, get veneers. If the teeth are chipping and wearing down get veneers.
