Denture Gum Problems: I have been noticing small but sharp bone like things coming through where teeth have been pulled.

Is this something that is normal or something that I should be seen for? ...Visitor from CA

Answer:
What you are probably seeing is small shards of bone migrating through the gum tissue. It is fairly common with extractions.

If a particular shard becomes a problem and doesn't come out.. let your dentist/surgeon know before there is an infection risk.
