When I was 9, my top, left tooth in the front was partially knocked out. It was barely hanging on. A nearby dentist placed the tooth back in it's place, and it seemed to have worked. When I was 13 I started experiencing pains shooting through the tooth. I went to my dentist and he told me that I needed a root canal. As far as I know, all went well with that. My question is now my tooth is noticably yellow. What can I do to get this tooth the same as the rest of my teeth. I smoke, so I my teeth aren't extremely white, but they are definately whiter than my tooth that was partially knocked out. Any sugguestions will be greatly appreciated. ...Visitor from NC (answer)
My son is 7 and his first bottom 2 permanent teeth have come in badly miscolored with differant colored specs on each tooth. His teeth became discolored due to Tetracycline. His top permanent tooth is now coming in and it too is totaly miscolored with specs also. I know that when he gets older he can get veneers but I am worried about him being teased in school and what this may do to his self confidence. I have had an apicectomy a year ago on a front tooth. It seems to be slowly going grey. Will it eventually go really grey? Could it break off? I can't have a crown done because I am left with trigeminal neuralgia and don't want to interfere with it. I appreciate any advice. ...Visitor from Graz, Australia (answer)
