- I've had this pain for 8yrs. X-rays and Mri's don't show anything. The pain starts in the gum area above and behind the second to the last upper left molar. It feels slightly swollen. The pain gradually goes to my temple area and as the pain increases the muscles on the left side of my face hurt also areas in the front and back of my neck. It's as if the pain travels. When I press on the painful areas on my face or neck it seems to travel to the gum area and stop the pain temporarily. I am in pain every
day. I take 1600mg. of neurotin a day it helps 30% of the pain. Drs. don't know what is wrong. Do you have any suggestions? There has to be an answer to this pain. Something is wrong. ...Visitor from PA (answer)
- Pressure in my face, behind my eyes, and headaches: I recently got braces about 4 months ago and a month later I had to see my chiropractor for a headache that I had for 4 days straight. Since then I have been on 2 antibiotics for sinus infections, and I feel like another is coming on. I am starting to wonder if getting these braces is causing all my pain? Is it possible that an infection could be getting in throught my gums as my teeth are expanding, and causing sinus infections? ...Visitor from CA (answer)
