- Loose tooth due to fracture: I had a route canal done to one of my upper right molars a few years ago. At the time I did not get a crown because of financial reasons. I recently went to my dentist as I was experiencing discomfort on that tooth. He discovered that it was loose and said that it was fractured. He said my only options were to get a 3 unit bridge or a tooth implant. I was wondering if these are really the only options that I have.
