Question:
I have had an upper plate since I was 20 years old and I am now 55 years old. Do you think I could have a upper implants without having to have oral surgery to replace bone loss? Also, can a person have like three implants on each side (total of 6 implants) and then have a bridge attached to them? ...Linda in GA
Answer:
Linda, only x-rays and a specialist can answer those questions based on your
clinical findings. It is possible but it depends on your bone level, health, bite, etc. The work you are talking about will cost you well over $15,000 so if finances are a consideration you may want to consider placing just 2 implants in each arch and attaching the dentures into these 2 implants for support. It will make a world of difference for you, for under $10,000.
