Question:
Implants and Gingivitis: I am a 27 year old female with crooked teeth and gingivitas.
I desperately want my teeth fixed and straight. I know braces are out of the question, however, is there a chance of implants, or in the case that I lose my teeth soon, is dentures a possibility? anything??

Answer:
You definitely don't want to jump into a denture especially if you are only in your late twenties.
Dentures at such a young age would introduce you to some major problems later on in life.
Are your teeth decayed? Many times orthodotics, or cosmetic work can be done to correct the problems you have mentioned.
In our office we usually will start with a full xray for your teeth and models to clearly evaluate what issues may be present and what treatment plan we can come up with so that our patients are pleased
esthetically, functionally, and financially.
