Question:
CatScan Required or Recommended? Two front teeth are caps, One with severe bone loss and the other a root canal.
If extracting both front teeth, then doing a bone graft and waiting for implants is the answer, do I let the Doctor do this withour a C/T scan? ...Visitor from FL
Answer:
Using a CT scan can be very valuable in certain instances for example, where there is limited bone or vital structures that you would want to avoid (sinus areas, facial nerve).
However, your situation is very basic and doing a CT scan for that, while it would be nice, is not necessary.
