Question:
Reversal of Invisalign Work: I used invisilign for 3 weeks.

My upper teeth hurt so much the entire time and it is still loose and sore even though I have now not worn them for 2 weeks.

My teeth got worse, with gaps and one tooth pushed farther in and my bite is with bottom teeth touching my top and making them extremely sore. My teeth are still loose and my orthodontist is reccomending we go back to a "original" mold and wear that for 2 weeks to get my teeth back to where I was.

I'm scared to wear anything because my teeth seemed so sensitive to it, but I want to correct my teeth. I originally went in for a very minor issue. I've lost total confidence in my orthodontist and they won't say why my teeth hurt. ...Visitor from FL

Answer:
It would be hard to evaluate your problem with out clinically examining you with your aligners.

However, it is possible that the aligners you are using could have been mispackaged or mislabeled, in other words you may be using an aligner that was indicated for a future date of treatment.

I have had a patient that kept complaining about one particular aligner that was hurting. When we switched to the next aligner the pain disappeared. I hope this has helped.
