History of Cancer: I was treated for head and neck cancer in 1998. Last year I had
all my upper teeth removed.
My dentures fit but I can't wear them because of my gag reflex. I have no saliva. I also have type II diabetes.
Would these mini implants work on upper dentures? ...Visitor from TN
Answer:
I am sorry that you have been through so much but you should be able to improve your situation with the minis. It depends on having enough bone that is dense.
Your dentist will be able to determine this with xrays and what is called bone sounding.
