Mitchell A. Pohl, D.D.S.
Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry
Dr. Pohl attended Hunter College of City University of N.Y. as an undergraduate and studied hospital administration and planning as a graduate student.
He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Pohl began practicing dentistry as an officer in the U.S.A.F. in 1978 where he developed his high standard for excellence.
His exposure in the Air Force to all the disciplines in dentistry as well as the surgical side of medicine offered him opportunities not generally available to most dentists. After leaving the Air Force, Dr. Pohl entered private practice in Richmond, Virginia where he also served as clinical instructor at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry teaching cosmetic and general dentistry.
During his career, Dr. Pohl has constantly endeavored to stay abreast of the latest developments in dental technology and advances in the dental sciences. He has accumulated extensive continuing education credits qualifying him for fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
