FAQ:  Molars

Question:
My right lower jaw - all my molars was extracted due to tooth decay. My dentist advised me to eat using the left jaw. I asked him whether I can put in dentures and he told me that it is uncomfortable to put it. Please advise? Visitor from Singapore

Answer:
After you heal from the extractions, you should be able to have a removable denture made (assuming you have other teeth to work with on the lower) and this should help you chew again.

I usually will wait a minimum of 8 weeks before I will start making a new partial denture. Hope this helps
