Question:
Adult tooth not appearing: My daughter lost a tooth a year ago but her adult tooth has not come in yet.
I can see it and feel it behind her gums, but it has not come out. The rest of her teeth fall and are replaced by adult teeth usually within the month.
Its her front tooth, and she is afraid to eat anything that requires too much work to eat. Her xrays show that her tooth is there. I tell her to rub her gum to encourage her tooth to come out. Is that helpful????? ...Visitor from CA
Answer:
Don't worry I will assure you it will come through.
This is not uncommon and sometimes the tooth just likes to take it's time.
