Question:
I just had a temporary crown put on a broken tooth and am waiting to get in for a root canal appointment. My tooth and gum hurt very bad when touched and whenever my lower jaw touches my upper jaw on that side of my face I have intense pain.

I also have a large bump on the gum just below the crown #18. The dentist is giving me another script of keflex and vicoprofen or something but it does not help all that much. Should I see a different dentist? ...Visitor from TN

Answer:
I guess the only matter here is that you need immediate attention, unfortunately it is hard nowadays to find competent professionals who can get you fast appointments because everybody is so busy.

Find someone else who can take care of you, if you can. Your problem needs immediate attention.
