Question:
About a week ago I started having pain in my gums on the bottome left side of my mouth. The pain is now in my jaw and even upper gums - also my cheek bone sometimes aches.
It is enough that it is keeping me up at night. It is definately worse after I eat. I recently (within a few weeks) had a dental check-up and everything looked great! A few days after the pain started I also got sick (with a terrible cold, sore throat and swollen glands).
Could this be sinus trouble? I'm not sure which kind of doctor to call first. Visitor from TX
Answer:
I am sorry you are having these problems.
Normally I would not think about something like this in your lower jaw having anything to do with a sinus problem. I would suggest that you see your dentist again soon. The mouth and the body are constantly changing and you may have recently begun to have an infection problem.
