My son will be 2 soon and I wanted to know when he should see a dentist. I brush his teeth every day, some days turn out better than others...Shirley

Answer:
Shirley, the first cleaning and x-rays is when your son is 3. If you see that there is a problem, have him go to the dentist before age 3. Otherwise, keep brushing his teeth and make the appointment for his first cleaning.
