Question:
I need a root canal on my front tooth. My dentist suggested a crown and veneer treatments as well...are both necessary? ...Bridget in NJ

Answer:
Bridget, if more than 50% of your tooth is broken/missing it would be wise to place a veneer or crown. Your dentist may also consider a post to reinforce the tooth if more than 50% is missing.
