Question:
Sensitive Tooth: About a year ago I had to get a filling for a "deep" cavity. It was done successfully.
Since then that tooth is super sensitive. I have been to the dentist 2 times (other than a regular check up) for the tooth and they keep telling me there is nothing to do about it because the root is fine and has been fine and that they see nothing wrong with the area.
They just tell me its sensitive. It seems to be affecting my entire side of the mouth. I can't chew, brush or drink near that tooth. Isn't there anything to do about it? ...Visitor from WI
Answer:
I disagree with your dentist.
If your tooth is sensitive it needs treatment. The filling may need to be re-done. A root canal may be done to remove feeling from the tooth. If the tooth has a fracture it may require other options.
Teeth that bother you require a solution .... not a "there's nothing I can do" answer.
