Shifting Teeth FAQ Ask The Dentist Corinne Scalzitti

Question:
Advanced Gum Disease and Moving Teeth: What cosmetic procedures can be done with advanced gum disease and teeth that have shifted a little bit? ... Visitor from CA

Answer:
Before cosmetic procedures can be done with advanced gum disease and shifting teeth, the periodontal condition needs to be treated.

I have had good success in treating loose teeth with a PerioLase laser, which is contained in my website.

After the periodontal disease is treated and the teeth are stable, veneers, crowns and gum grafting can help with the cosmetics.
