Question:
For the past week my tongue has been burning really bad and everything tastes irregular.

On the right side of my tongue I can't taste very well and on the right side everything tastes extra strong. Somethings that I normally eat that have flavor don't have any flavor at all.

What might be the problem, and what do you think I should do? ... Visitor from UT

Answer:
If you have had a "dental event" occur recently, your best bet for investigating these symptoms is to consult with the experts in oral tissue health, a periodontist.

Otherwise, you may need to consult with a Doctor of Internal Medicine to rule out other metabolic, systemic or developmental issues.
