FAQ:  Tori

Video: Tori - Exostosis Removal Surgery

Question:
I have had tori on the bottom of my mouth removed. It wasn't a difficult surgery. I have tori on the roof of my mouth.

I also have bad breath. I'm wondering if the tori could be causing a lack of moisture in my mouth resulting in bad breath? ... Visitor from Carrollton

Answer:
You could have a ph factor imbalance, which can be treated with products from your dentist or periodontist.

Tori is a spongey, porous tissue. There is a remote possibility that bacteria is getting trapped in that tissue.
