Dental Implants: Senior Citizen (90 years old)

Maxilla
6 Remaining Teeth - Mild Bone Resorption

Bone Grafts - Implants - 10 New Teeth Instead of 6
Bone grafting was required in one area of the jaw where resorption was prominent due to no existing teeth. Graft surgeries proceeded well and without incident. Traditional dental implants were placed, following Nobel Biocare's proven "All On Four" implant placement protocol.

The use of Immediate Function implants enabled the patient to be fitted with a custom modified acrylic denture prosthetic that will later be replaced with a fixed bridge.

Extractions, grafting, implant placements and loading of denture prosthetic were performed in one day.... the same appointment.

Material, case study and photos provided by Dr. Ira Koeppel, Long Island, New York.
