Question:
I had my wisdom teeth removed about a month ago. I developed the week following, and was treated with antibiotics. The infection has returned, to the same spot. My dentist says that my gums are not healing properly, and put me back on antibiotics.

It has been 4 days since I started the antibiotics, but I feel like there is pus coming out. Should I go back to the Dentist? or just watch and see if the antibiotics will remedy the problem? ...Visitor from CA

Answer:
I recommend that you go in and see the dentist if you have puss coming from the socket. You may not be responding to the antibiotic as hoped.
