Question:
All of my wisdom teeth are in and I have slight pain occasionally. My upper right one lost some of the tooth about a year ago and it kinda has a hole in it that I can stick my tongue into.

Lately I have had numerous sinus infections, and my right tonsil has gotten an infection. Just curious if that tooth could be a main reason for this, my doctor seems to just shrug it off. ...Visitor from PA

Answer:
If you have a hole in your wisdom tooth it is possible that a deep cavity has caused an infection. It is possible that a dental infection can cause your tonsils and even your sinuses to become infected.

You should see a dentist and have an xray and diagnosis; the tooth may need to be extracted.
