Wisdom toothache: My wisdom teeth is really keeping me up at night. It's very painfull. Now, three days later the pain is gone, but my gums on the side of the tooth is very badly swollen.

This seems like classic case of impacted wisdom tooth or teeth causing bouts of acute and chronic infection around the area. This is due to swollen gum being traumatized by the opposing tooth.
You need to remove the cause - in most cases the opposing tooth. When the infection is resolved then removal of the tooth in question is removed. Usually a course of antibiotic from your dentist will bring infection under control followed by extraction.
This can be quite serious and painful condition and it is wise to attend to treatment sooner tnan later.
Good oral hygiene and frequent warm salt mouth washes is very useful.
