Question:
Bone loss/loose teeth: My bone loss is hereditary - I have no infection and see a dentist regularly.
How does oral bone replacement work? Do the loose teeth stabilize with this procedure?
... Visitor from TX
Answer:
I can't tell how much bone loss you have. If your teeth are loose, laser periodontal surgery may help. You can see the procedure here. It is called PerioLase.
If the bone loss is excessive and this is not an option, you may be able to have some grafting. If this is not possible, you could be a candidate for dentures or implant retained dentures.
