Orthodontic treatments might include a recommendation for orthognathic surgery if there are considerable discrepancies with jaw sizing characteristics between the maxilla and mandible.
To get a start on "collecting" a menu of treatment choices, get some consults with an orthodontist and some reconstructive dentists.
An orthodontist will typically recommend orthodontic treatments whereas a reconstructive dentist will recommend treatment choices that can span all that modern dentistry offers... not just orthodontics.
The greater the number of consults... the greater the number of treatment possibilities. You will quickly learn that no two dentists see things the same way and, by virtue of training and experience, they likely will not recommend the same treatments.
