Dentists Ask Dentists - Problem Dentistry James Sanderson Topic: Laser Whitening
Question:
Are they really safe? What are the main risks in laser tooth whitening and do they cause more problems than other in-office whitening systems? ...Dentist from Tallinn, Estonia, Europe

Answer:
Yes the lasers are really safe.

I have been using whitening systems for 18 years now in one form or another.

The diode laser is the best I have ever found. We have the "Zoom" system from Discus dental in our office and we almost always go with the laser instead because it is less trouble and more predictable and we have less sensitivity with it.

If you have any other questions let me know.
