  • I've had bucked teeth since I was born. Now, after a hockey accident, two of my front teeth have been chipped badly. What are the forms of orthodontal cosmetics that are available and what are my options? ...Visitor from CA     (answer)

  • I have a chipped tooth and I've had bonding but it keeps coming off. Someone told me that if you leave it alone eventually it will come down to meet the other tooth. Is this true and if so how long does it take? ...Visitor from PA     (answer)

  • Four of my front teeth are very badly chipped, two are signifigantly worse than the other two. The two that are not so bad do not have to much damage and a large portion of both are still intact.. I went to a cosmetic dentist to find out my options, and he only gave me one. To completely remove all of them and replace them with a bridge, but before that he said he would have to give me a root canal on two of my back molars, they were damaged, I guess. He said that he had to do the root canals first before he would do anything. I am going to be paying cash when I decide what I want to do, and I know this will be extremely costly. What I am wondering is is this really my only option? The thought of having to lose my front teeth at 24 is horrible. ...Visitor from OH     (answer)

  • Fillings and Chipping: I am 28 yrs old. Recently I found that 2 of the major fillings had come out, so I went to a random dentist and got it done. When I inspected my teeth carefully I could see that a couple of my teeth have been chipped out and slowly they are reducing in size from the bottom of the tooth. What might be the reason for chipping out and decreasing in size of my teeth? I don't grind at day/night, don't smoke, no alcohol and brush my teeth regularly. ...Visitor from CA     (answer)
