Replace - Fix Missing Teeth

Rotting Teeth FAQ Ask The Dentist Corinne Scalzitti Question:
Implants for bulimic teeth: I have a couple teeth that have rotted to almost the gumline due to the fact that my family never had money to take me to the dentist or to buy toothpaste and such.

I was also bulimic for several years and also threw up for nine months while I was pregnant.

I was wondering if it is possible for my teeth to be fixed somehow to where I have the beautiful smile that I have never had the pleasure of enjoying? ... Visitor from TX

Answer:
I cannot see your condition, but from what you wrote, I would think that you should see a dentist to evaluate your mouth.

My guess is that you could achieve a beautiful smile with dentures. It is also possible that you could have your smile restored with crowns, bridges, and implants, but the cost would be tremendous.

Dentures can be beautiful and comfortable. Shop carefully for somebody who takes an interest in your condition and explains your options fully.

Also, don't take the lowest cost; you want somebody who will put the extra effort into helping you.
